The Skylight Boutique is a safe place for Queer folks to find fun, affordable clothes and explore our identity.

Address: 1900 St. Paul Street. Look for the sandwich board!

Accessibility: Very unfortunately, the Thrift Store is located up two flights of stairs. We realize this is far from idea, and our long-term plan is the installation of an elevator. If there’s anything we can do to make the store more accessible to you please contact us.

Parking: Free, on the corner of St. Paul and 20th, in the lot marked “St. Mark’s”

Hours: every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month from 2-6pm

    • Any time the Thrift Store is open

    • Whenever the St. Mark’s office is open: 8am-4pm Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Please call the office first at 410-752-5804 to confirm our administrator is at her desk and can let you in.

hey besties! i’m dylan, a fat, bi-racial, non-binary transmasc individual with a huge passion for body positivity and neutrality. i’m a part time drag queen in the DMV area and have a lot of love for fashion and size inclusion in the industry. in my spare time, i can be found reading, playing with my dogs, or supervising my cats biscuit making factory. excited to be skylight boutique’s resident hype boy for all customers.

Hi, my name is Jacque (she/her)! I enjoy trying out new restaurants around Baltimore, hiking with my pup, and reading with my cat snuggled up in my lap. As a queer POC and lover of thrifting, I am SO excited to be part of this team!

A comic artist at heart, Owen Miller-Dye is a new transplant from Chicago to Baltimore. His favorite attire usually includes fun patterns, snapbacks, tall boots, and a chance to show off his sleeve tattoos.

My name is Jordan and I use he/him/his and they/them/theirs pronouns. A few of my favorite things include pancakes, dogs, the colors pink and lavender, tea in the morning, time spent with friends, and anything that makes me think of the ocean!

Hi! i’m abi and i use they/them or she/her pronouns. i’m a baltimore local who loves live music, tiny bookshops and vintage home goods! i’m so excited to be a part of this team bringing affirming clothing to the community! 

 

Monica Stevens Yorkman, she/her/hers

Donations Coordinator

Monica Stevens Yorkman is a 70-year-old black transgender woman who is a native Baltimorean who is a parent of two, and son and a daughter, a grandparent of three, three granddaughters and a grandson, and a great-grandparent of two, two great-granddaughters. She is an artist, musician, a published poet, a chef, and a fashionista. Throughout her life Monica has been raised in the civil rights, women’s rights, and gender justice movements and has become an activist and educator. Throughout her life she has worked in community spaces that served LGBTQ people as well as others who were underserved allowing her to bring unique experiences and perspectives to her work.
