Cider? Plaids? Leaves? Pumpkin spice? Whatever means fall to you, this is the week we celebrate it. The beginning of the fall has been full of creating, learning, and celebrating as a community. This week, we take a trip and treat ourselves to some fun.
Dreams and Visions will take a trip to Weber’s Peachberry Farm to scope their apple orchards for the right companions to brighten our hearts and our pies this season. If we’re lucky, perhaps we can even come up with some bushels to tuck into the corners of our sacred space! After we’re done picking apples, we can take a short trip down the road to Weber’s Cider Mill farm and hang out with cider, donuts, and a corn maze.
Trips in nature are becoming something of a tradition at Dreams and Visions. As a community, regular retreats out of our usual space give us a chance to reset and relate to each other even more creatively. Wear your comfiest (and/or cutest?) fall outfit and join us for an adventure.
The apple orchard is located at 11409 Harford Rd, Glen Arm, MD 21057. If you would like to coordinate a ride to the event, please reach out to Pastor Emily, emily@dreamsandvisionsbaltimore.org or Vicar Claire, vicar@stmarksbaltimore.org. We are happy to collect a group at the Dreams and Visions sacred space near St. Paul Street or make additional pick-ups as possible.

Dreams and Visions is an LGBTQ+ rooted community. We honor your full selves, use your pronouns, and do our best to create trauma-informed spaces. Gender neutral bathrooms are available. While the lower level is accessible by ramp, the new worship space is located up a set of stairs. Please contact Vicar Claire at vicar@stmarksbaltimore.org if you have trouble navigating stairs, and we will work with you to create a plan.
Dreams and Visions staff keep an eye on COVID data to ensure that community policies stay up to date. For now, we remain masked at all indoor gatherings. We are still singing, and we will do it only when we are outside and wearing masks. Each time we gather, we confirm safety preferences with those present to ensure that everyone is comfortable. As always, these precautions are intended to help all who join us feel at home.
